Don’t miss visiting Luna Park these school holidays to experience the ice-skating rink overlooking picturesque Lavender Bay. Follow it up with all the fun of the rides at our world-famous amusement park.
Who could imagine a more exciting day out these school holidays than a trip to much-loved Luna Park – especially during Winterfest. Taking place daily from July 5 to July 22, the festival includes regular snow falls, winter-themed tunes, and delicious winter food and drink specials. The main attraction of course is the ice-skating rink brought in especially for the occasion. It’s ideal for experienced skaters and beginners alike, and there are cute kangaroo skating aids for those who need a little support on the ice.
During Winterfest a rides pass is all-inclusive, so you can have unlimited rides and unlimited ice skating. This year the annual event is even more special with the introduction of a ‘Christmas in July’ theme and daily visits from Santa! So don’t forget your camera!
Friday and Saturday from 6pm is also perfect for date nights. You can buy a Twilight Saver online for only $37 and experience the magic of Luna Park in the evening – this is when the Park lights up and ice-skating under the stars is at its most magical!

Times: Differs daily (see hours here – https://www.lunaparksydney.com/plan-your-day ), but generally 11am – 6pm Sunday – Thursday and 11am – 10pm Friday & Saturday.
