Mosman Welcomes an Exciting New Sports Bar… Just in Time for a Packed Season of Sporting Events!!

Mosman Club home to Sydney’s favourite rooftop rosé bar The Fernery, has launched its refurbished Sports Bar Mosman in time for the Rugby World Cup. The 100-seater sports bar has re-opened with a new American style food menu, an extensive range of beers, dedicated games corner and a huge new 7-metre square screen so you can catch all the sporting action live and loud.

“The North Shore has a huge appetite for sport, and we recognised that there was a gap in
the market for a quality sports bar on the North Shore. We’re excited to offer our guests a
relaxed environment to catch up with mates, watch a game and enjoy a quality dining
experience,” said Mosman Club CEO Gerard Boyle.

Cheer on your team as you dive into Sports Bar Mosman’s new American style menu that
would put any Superbowl party to shame. The menu was designed by The Fernery head
chefs’ Gavin Gray and Mitchell Davis who recently won a Bronze Medal in the Chef’s Table
competition. Take your pick with Franks Hot Sauce Chicken Wings, a Southern Fried
Chicken Burger with Badass BBQ sauce, a Macho Nacho that’s sure to put hair on your
chest, a Double Beef and Bacon Burger complete with onion rings or Slow Cooked BBQ
Beef Ribs.

During the Rugby World Cup, Sports Bar Mosman will be screening every game live in HD
on its screen and have Heineken pints for schooner prices ($8.50). A rum bar will also
feature Sydney’s craft distillers including Brix Distillery and Archie Rose with a range of rum cocktails on offer. When your team is not winning, there’s plenty of activities to distract yourself with darts board, a game of pool, pinball machines or the Dual Rider Racing game.

To kick off the six-week Rugby World Cup tournament, Mosman Club will host Sydney sport podcast Hello Sport on Saturday 21st September prior to Australia’s first game against Fiji for a free live show featuring a special guest. Hosted by Tom Birmingham and Eddy Simpson, the Hello Sport podcast describes itself as “a celebration of the great Australian past time that is talking about sport with unqualified authority and unwavering bias” with the boys discussing the Wallabies chances at taking home the Webb Ellis Cup with a rugby great.
