During the Christmas period, Prince Albert St goes to such amazing efforts with their Christmas decorations that crowds come from all directions to see it. Rangers Rd, Cremorne is also spectacular every year – number 51 Rangers Rd even won ‘Event of the Year’ at the North Sydney Council Australia Day Awards.
Elsewhere, The Avenues in Willoughby, Chauvel St in North Ryde, and Cambage Court in Davidson are also well worth visiting each year.

A Christmas event, free for kids! This Christmas bring your kids on a musical journey through Claude Debussy’s The Toybox. Open their eyes and capture their imaginations with this ‘ballet for children,’ as it reveals all the secrets of the toybox. From Sydney ensemble Thoroughbass, this 2018 interpretation of the 1919 ballet is a magical entrée to one of the most influential French composers of all time. Inviting little bodies with big imaginations to join us in the round on the floor, and get up close to some of the earliest musical instruments. (Fixed seating for parents and grandparents). Prince Albert St Christmas Lights Street Party, December 16, 7pm-10pm
The lovely residents of Prince Albert St will once again be putting on a fabulous Christmas lights display for our community and, to celebrate, a street party will take place. Enjoy sausage sizzles, wood fired pizza and sweet treats from Four Frogs, Fourth Village and Messina, as well as Santa, great music and more! Parking free of charge in the Zoo carpark.
