Nunu’s Piano School
Nur Sanders has been teaching piano, keyboard and theory since 1970. Nur prepares students for AMEB exams and technical preparations for the HSC.
Nur started playing the piano at the age of 4. From a very young age she knew that she wanted to devote herself wholeheartedly to learning and later teaching the piano.
At the age of 13 Nur was fortunate enough to audition for the renowned Frank Hutchens and consequently study under the equally eminent Alexander Sverjensky at the Music Conservatorium of NSW.
Passionate about teaching, Nur was quick to return to her students after the birth of her two children whom seemed to enjoy a c-major scale or two being played by her students as they napped in their basinets underneath her piano.
Nur passes her love of the piano to her students, a budding pianist or a virtuoso, students and their relatives continue to sing praise of her infectious love of piano. Nur’s beloved Jack Russell “Rodney” sometimes likes to drop by and join in on the fun too.
Studio locations are in Mosman and Belrose, enrolments are now open.
